Western Sydney Aerotropolis
We're working to help deliver a major new electricity infrastructure project to power the Western Sydney Aerotropolis precinct, ensuring there is a reliable energy supply for decades to come.

A thriving new economic centre for Sydney
The Western Sydney Aerotropolis has been proposed as a vibrant new community, that will encompass over 11,200 hectares and is set to become one of the most significant infrastructure and economic development projects in Australia.
With construction and commissioning expected to be complete by the end of the decade, the Western Sydney International Airport and its surrounding Aerotropolis are projected to attract 1.5 million people over the next decade, fostering thriving businesses, tech hubs and a dynamic economy. As the region grows, we will help to ensure a reliable electricity supply that is crucial for creating a thriving, liveable and sustainable city for residents and businesses.
Endeavour Energy's role
With Transgrid, we are collaborating on the construction of a new Bulk Supply Point at Kemps Creek – the most efficient and cost-effective solution to meet the region’s rising electricity demand. Together, we will provide a secure and scalable renewable electricity supply for the region, connecting Western Sydney with renewable generators in NSW and interstate, and ensuring that new communities and industries have the power they need to thrive.
We are investing $25 million to upgrade the local distribution network, as part of a forecast broader investment in the Aerotropolis region of $580 million in the next decade. This funding supports the development of new substations and feeders to meet the needs of growing communities, including new homes, schools, businesses and public transport hubs in the region.
