If you depend on electricity for essential medical equipment, we suggest you register for our life support program so that we can assist.
If you or anyone at your home uses any of the below equipment, this would automatically qualify you for life support protections:
During the life support registration process, a medical confirmation form will be required to be signed by your medical practitioner.
If they deem that the equipment in use qualifies as essential for life support, this certification will enable you to register for protections and support available under our life support program.

Follow these four simple steps to register life support equipment with us and make sure you get the support you need.
Start by completing our online form. This lets us know someone at your address uses medical equipment that needs electricity. We will temporarily register your address from here.
Once we receive your registration, we’ll post and email the form your doctor needs to complete using the information you provide us. We will also share with you some handy tips and considerations to take when creating your back up plan for power outages.
Your doctor needs to confirm the equipment is medically necessary by filling out and signing the form.
Once the form is signed and dated, you can upload it. If you have submitted a medical confirmation form to another provider in the last 4 years, you can send that to us instead (Just make sure it’s clear, signed and within 110 business days since switching retailer or distributor)

We may still need to interrupt your power for maintenance of the network. With this advanced notice, you have time to prepare and make sure your backup plan is ready on the day.
We’ll do our best to update you as we work on restoring power in your area. Remember, we will send a message to the mobile number you have provided your retailer, so always make sure your details are up to date.
They can also support you and ensure you’re receiving government rebates you may be eligible for.

Life support registration does not guarantee uninterrupted power. It is important to have a backup plan in place and keep your contact details up to date if they change.

How will you keep your surroundings safe?
